About Ammoudara

Ammoudara stretches along a long sandy beach immediately west of Heraklion (around Gazi), serving as the capital's main urban seaside resort while also being a year-round residential suburb. Its flat beachfront promenade, marina, watersports and the Almyros wetland at the western end make it the most outdoors- and family-oriented of the Heraklion areas. Property spans beachfront apartments, seaside villas and new near-sea developments, priced in the city's upper band (~€2,000–€3,000/m²).
